Do you only sell Canadian drugs or do you sell from other countries as well?
In addition to dispensing from a Canadian dispensing pharmacy, we also dispense your medications from international fulfillment centers that are approved by the regulatory bodies from their respective countries. We affiliate with dispensaries in the following jurisdictions that ship product to our customers: Canada, Mauritius, New Zealand, Australia, Turkey, United Kingdom, India, and the United States.
If I choose to order my medication from Canada, what is the quality of medication from Canada compared to those I have been already taking?
Many of the same brand name companies make the exact same product in Canada as Canada has an exceptionally high standard of quality of medications and is on par with drugs made in the US. Although some drugs may have a different name in Canada ( for example Prilosec is called “Losec” in Canada), it is the same quality product. Canada also produces a greater variety of generic drug products that are not available at home due to drug patent differences (for example -Tamoxifen brand name is $ 150.00 while the generic equivalent is only $ 35.00). The same goes if you choose to order your medication from our affiliated international fulfillment centres.
What if my medication is available generically, but I still want the brand name product that I am accustomed to?
Some medications are available by both the brand name product and the generic brand. Should you only desire the brand name product simply request your medication as a no-substitute ( no sub).
What supply of medication can I purchase?
You are allowed to purchase 3 months worth of your medication at a time, and then get 3 additional repeats. This totals a year’s supply of medication. So it is important that your personal physician write your prescription for a year’s supply
Will you accept any health insurance plans?
We are not able to accept all health insurance claims. Please check with our Customer Care Specialists at 1-866-481-5817. Payments may also be made by Personal Checks, Money Order or Certified Check.
How do I reorder my medication when I am running low?
When you get down to a 2-3 week supply simply call our Customer Care Specialists toll-free at +1-866-481-5817. Important: You must request your refill by calling our Customer Care Specialists. Refills are not automatically sent.
Can I speak to a pharmacist at any time?
You may speak to a pharmacist directly at any time by simply calling our Customer Care Specialists toll-free at +1-866-481-5817 or use our online form.
How long does it take to get my order?
We promptly process your order upon receipt of your prescription. Please allow 2 – 4 weeks for delivery.
What if my shipped order gets lost?
Your delivery is guaranteed. Please call us immediately if you have not received your order in the quoted delivery time. Medications Canada, however, is not responsible if you have supplied an incorrect mailing address.
Are there other charges besides the cost of my medication?
A flat fee shipping and handling charge of $9.95 US will be applied to each shipment.
What if I have a problem with my medication?

What if I have a concern about customer service or prices, etc.?

Can I return my medications if I no longer need them?
Because we work in conjunction with licensed pharmacies to protect the safety of you and other parties involved, once a prescription and non-prescription products have been dispensed it cannot be returned for any reason. Under the pharmaceutical law, prescription drugs are not returnable. All sales are final. So before ordering (completing your order) please consult with your physician regarding your medications.
What are generic drugs?
Generic drugs are “bioequivalent” of a brand-name drug in dosage form, safety, strength, quality, how it is taken, performance and intended use.
It is recommended to use one formulation of a brand or generic drug consistently to achieve the best results. This is particularly true for cardiovascular drugs, antimicrobials, proton-pump inhibitors, levothyroxine (ie. Synthroid), & antiepileptic drugs (ie. Topamax, Lamictal).
Are generic drugs as safe as brand-name drugs?
Absolutely. Both brand-name and generic drug facilities meet the same standards of good manufacturing practices. In fact, an estimated 50% of generic drug production actually comes from brand-name companies. These companies frequently make copies of their own or other brand-name drugs but sell them as generics.
Are generic drugs as effective as brand-name drugs?
Essentially, yes. 98% of people who take generic drugs experience positive results.
Why do generic drugs look different than their brand-name counterpart?
US trademark laws do not allow a generic drug to look exactly like the brand-name drug. However, while colors, flavors, and other inactive ingredients may be different, the drug must duplicate the active ingredient.
Why are generic drugs less expensive?
New brand-name drugs are developed under a patent, giving the company the sole right to sell the drug during the patent period. During this time, a drug company charges more for a brand-name drug to recover the costs of developing the drug, which also includes research, marketing, and promotion. When the patent expires, other manufacturers can begin to produce and sell generic versions of the brand-name drug.
Because these manufacturers don’t have the same research and development costs, they can afford to sell their product at substantial discounts. Also, with more products in the market, there is more competition, which keeps the prices down.
Is there a generic drug for all brand-name drugs?
No. Currently, only half the drugs on the market are available in generic form. The other half is protected under patents, allowing only one company to produce them.
How can I get less expensive generic drugs?
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist. Ask for prescriptions for generic drugs whenever possible.
